GoDaddy Auctions has added two major sources of expired domains: Squarespace and Wix.

• Squarespace, now the 5th largest .com registrar after acquiring Google Domains in 2023, manages over 8 million .com domains.

• Wix, with around 3 million .com domains, also joins the platform.

Previously, domains from both companies could only be caught during the pending delete phase. Now, expired domains from these registrars are auctioned directly through GoDaddy, giving domain investors earlier access and creating a new revenue stream—especially important as private equity now backs Squarespace.

This move gives GoDaddy Auctions more inventory and strengthens its position in the expired domain market.
