Trademark & Brand Protection Policy
This policy defines the ownership, permitted use, and protection of the OMWEB brand, trademarks, logos, and associated identifiers.
1. Ownership of the OMWEB Trademark
The name OMWEB, associated logos, visual identity, and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of NIVITA HUF, India, operating under the brand OMWEB.
Trademark applications for “OMWEB” have been filed under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India), including applications in Class 42.
All rights, title, and interest in the OMWEB brand, trademarks, logos, service names, and digital identifiers are reserved by NIVITA HUF.
2. Scope of Trademark Protection
The OMWEB trademark protection extends to, but is not limited to:
- The wordmark OMWEB
- OMWEB logos, symbols, and visual brand identity

- Associated domain names and digital properties
- Brand elements used in marketing, advertising, or digital platforms

3. Permitted Use
Limited reference to the OMWEB brand may be permitted in factual, non-commercial contexts such as:

Such use must not imply endorsement, partnership, ownership, or official affiliation unless explicitly authorized in writing.
4. Prohibited Use
The following uses are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from OMWEB:
- Registering domain names containing “OMWEB” or similar variations
- Using OMWEB in company names, brands, or product titles
- Using OMWEB logos, trademarks, or brand assets in marketing
- Creating websites, social accounts, or platforms impersonating OMWEB
- Search engine or advertising practices that mislead users into believing affiliation with OMWEB
- Any use likely to cause confusion, deception, or dilution of the OMWEB brand
5. Domain and Digital Identity Protection
Unauthorized registration, acquisition, or use of domain names containing the OMWEB name or confusingly similar variants may be considered cybersquatting or bad-faith registration.
OMWEB reserves the right to pursue domain recovery and enforcement through appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms including UDRP, INDRP, or other applicable legal remedies.
6. Enforcement
OMWEB actively monitors unauthorized use of its trademarks and brand assets.
Enforcement actions may include:
- Cease-and-desist notices
- Domain dispute proceedings
- Platform takedown requests
- Legal action under applicable intellectual property laws
